Dried strawberries are the dried form of fresh strawberries. Strawberries contain approximately 90-92% water. Therefore, after drying, approximately 1 kg (2.2 lb) of dried strawberries remain from 12 kg (26.4554 lb) of strawberries. During drying, the water in the product evaporates and the pulp remains.
